Lab Axiom helps you find records quickly on list pages such as Customers, Samples, Results, Tests, and Labs. Open any of these from Home or the bottom navigation bar.

Quick filter (toolbar)

Each list uses a data grid with a toolbar above the table. Use the toolbar Quick filter to search visible columns with partial text—for example a sample name, customer name, or lot number. This search applies to the current grid view and works together with any column filters you have set.

Column filters

You can also filter individual columns from the grid header (for example starts with on text columns). Filters narrow the rows shown; combine them with the quick filter when you need a precise subset.

Find a record by ID or name

When you know a record ID, sample code, or name, use Find {Entity} to jump directly to that record instead of scrolling the full list.

1. Open the list for Customers, Samples, Tests, or Labs from Home or the bottom navigation bar.
2. Click the ⋮ menu on the list header.
3. Choose Find Customer, Find Sample, Find Test, or Find Lab (the label matches the list you are on).
4. Enter the ID or name. For samples, you can also enter the sample code.
5. Choose whether to search live records, deleted records only, or both.
6. Click Find. If exactly one match is found, Lab Axiom opens that record. If several match, pick the correct row from the list.

The Find dialog is for locating a specific record. Use the toolbar quick filter and column filters above to narrow large lists.

Reset the view

Open the ⋮ menu on the list page and choose Reset … View to clear saved column layout and filters for that page.
