A system-generated identifier that uniquely identifies each record in Lab Axiom.
This value is primarily used internally by the system.

A short, easy-to-reference identifier assigned to a sample (shown as Code on the Samples list). Intended for everyday use and generally unique for a one-year period.
Pricing & Orders
Test Price
On a customer record, a per-test price (USD) that can override the default test price on Results rows for that customer's samples.
Total Sample Price
The total cost for a sample, calculated by adding together the prices of all associated tests.
PO Number (Purchase Order Number)

Billing Customer
The customer responsible for payment. The billing customer is automatically included on the Certificate of Analysis (COA) and does not need to be added separately to COA recipients.
Certificates & Notifications
Certificate of Analysis (COA)
An official laboratory report that summarizes test results for a sample.
Notification Status
Shows whether COA or sample-receipt notifications have been sent to designated recipients (for example Pending, Sent, Failed, Unpaid).
Detection & Analytical Terms
Reporting Type
On a test, describes how results are reported (for example quantity vs presence). Shown as Reporting Type in test configuration.
Minimum Reporting Limit (Min RL)
The lowest concentration the test method can reliably report. In results entry, the column is labeled Min RL. On a certificate of analysis, the combined reporting-limit column is labeled RL.
Maximum Reporting Limit (Max RL)
The highest concentration the test method can reliably report. Optional. In results entry, the column is labeled Max RL. When both limits are set, the certificate RL column shows a minimum–maximum range, and values above the maximum appear as > maximum.
Specifications & Limits
Spec / Spec Value
Specification type and value on the Results grid (Spec, Spec Value).
Range / Range Value
Used when a specification requires a numeric range. Ranges use formats such as greater than or equal to (>=) where applicable.
History
Record history
A read-only snapshot of a customer, sample, test, or lab record from an earlier point in time. Open from the record's ⋮ menu → View … History. See Restoring a record from history in Lab Axiom.
