Export grid data from list pages to Google Sheets for reporting or sharing. The export includes the rows currently visible in the grid (after filters and sorting) and the columns visible in your saved layout.

A list export is not a create-import template. Use Create Google Sheets Template when you need header-only columns for new Customers, Tests, or Labs. Export already includes ID and Tenant ID Shard so you can update existing records. See Importing catalog data from Google Sheets in Lab Axiom.

Export … to Google Sheets appears in the list ⋮ menu only when your role includes the matching export permission for that list (for example export tests for the Tests list). The built-in Admin role includes all export permissions. The built-in Manager role can export and import Results only; catalog lists (Customers, Samples, Tests, Labs) stay Admin-only for Sheets export unless your lab assigns those export permissions on a custom role. Export a list

1. Open a list from Home or the bottom navigation bar—Customers, Samples, Results, Tests, or Labs.
2. Optional: Filter or search to narrow the rows you want to export.
3. Click the ⋮ menu on the list header.
4. Choose Export … to Google Sheets (for example Export Results to Google Sheets on the Results page).
5. If prompted, sign in with Google and allow Lab Axiom access to your Google account.
6. In the export dialog, choose a new spreadsheet or an existing one, and either create a new sheet tab or select an existing sheet.
7. Click Export to write the data to Google Sheets.

Lab Axiom exports column headers and row values for visible columns. Hidden columns in your saved grid layout are omitted.

Import from Google Sheets

The Results list offers Import Results from Google Sheets when your role includes both import and update for results (built-in Admin and Manager; not User). That workflow updates existing results. See Entering Test Results in Lab Axiom.

Customers, Tests, and Labs use a separate create template and create/update import. Spreadsheet Detection Type on Tests is not the Tests grid RT column or the form label Reporting Type. See Importing catalog data from Google Sheets in Lab Axiom.
