The Lab → Profile and Lab → Settings pages let lab administrators update your lab's identity and how new sample codes are generated.
Permission required
You need tenant.update to open and save these pages. Without it, the Profile and Settings links are hidden from the Lab section.
Open Lab Profile
- Open the account menu (account circle, top right).
- Select your lab's name. If you have profile access, this opens Lab → Profile (
/tenant/profile). - On wider screens, you can also use the Profile link in the Lab sidebar.
Update lab profile
On Lab → Profile, edit:
- Name — how your lab appears in the app header and on certificates.
- Email, Phone, and Address — contact details for your organization.
- Logo — image shown on certificates of analysis.
- ISO Certification Number — optional certification identifier shown where applicable.
Choose Save. A success message confirms Lab Profile Saved.
Open Lab Settings
- Open the account menu and under your lab name choose Settings (nested under the Lab section).
- On wider screens, use the Settings link in the Lab sidebar (
/tenant/settings).
Configure sample codes
On Lab → Settings, control automatic sample code generation when you create new samples:
- Sample Code Prefix — text placed before the number.
- Next Sample Code Number — the next integer assigned to a new sample (must be 1 or greater).
- Sample Code Suffix — text placed after the number.
Each new sample uses the format {prefix}{number}{suffix} and advances the counter. Choose Save; a success message confirms Lab Settings Saved.
