When test results are complete, you can certify a sample to create or update a certificate of analysis (COA) for your customer. You need the certificate.create permission (typically granted through a role).

Open certify mode

1. Go to Samples and open the sample (view mode).
2. Click Certify Sample (certificate icon in the sample actions).
3. Lab Axiom opens the certify view for that sample, focused on COA management.

You can also navigate directly to the certify URL for a sample (/sample/certify/{id}).

Issue or manage the COA

On the certify page, use the certificates tools to generate, review, and distribute the COA according to your lab’s process. Ensure results are entered and reviewed first—see Entering Test Results in Lab Axiom.
